Further news today related to COVID-19 and an insight in to changes for travel insurance offered by Nationwide, who are adding more watertight restrictions associated with covering the uncertainty of their policies. This impacts everyone from all walks of life and the overall economy, in the context that less travel will impact GDP implicitly.
Its great that Nationwide are offering some level of Covid-19 exposure of cover, even though there are new forthcoming restrictions to protect their business exposure. From ARGenesis perspective, are others going to follow something similar or decide to go in a different direction? If we do see many changes to policies, what is driving all of this? We appreciate there are different considerations for changes. However, if it’s ultimately due to “Data”. What are companies strategic plan because COVID-19 not likely to go away for a while! We believe clients should, as a priority, be investing in to data solutions.
