Introduction to ARGenesis – Data Engineering for Insurance

The aim of the webinar is to provide a detailed overview of “Data Engineering for Insurance” and how it can impact your business. On the session, Shaily Vashista will give an overview of the key topics, exploring ‘Definition, Skills and importance of Data Engineering and Data Science’, ‘Hardware usage’, and ‘Where is our future moving towards – Data Science Democratisation’.

Delegates will be able to submit questions throughout the webinar in the chat box on their screens. These will be answered at the end of the presentation. The video will be made available for everyone to access after the webinar and a CPD is available (subject to each institute own criteria requirements).

Asif has 20 years of experience in the Insurance and Re-Insurance sector. He has multiple years of experience performing leadership roles in his domain. A qualified actuary, data scientist works for AMJ Group and is on a mission to disrupt the Insurance market using data science, machine learning and AI within the actuarial sector. Asif is Chairman for the IFoA Data Science WP/MIG (member interest group) and contributes to the management strategy in other companies London.

As Chief Tehnology Officer Shaily leads a team delivering/implementing GenieUs Ecosystem solution across a wide range of business areas. In addition to his current work Shaily is a technology leader with a career spanning over 20 years. He has consistently applied technology to drive business value. In recent years has enabled global enterprises in their quest for digital acceleration and operating model transformation. He specialises in implementing strategy through operations using data science, machine learning, predictive analytics, and Artificial Intelligence. He is a computer engineer with an MBA from Warwick Business School.
