**U.S. Directors and Officers Liability Market Update (Underwriting Losses, Coronavirus Disruption Spark Extensive Rate Increases)**

Good morning and Happy Monday.
There is no doubt that COVID-19 is having an impact on losses globally and affecting us all in many different ways. Today I’d like to share contents of D&O liability where its seeing a huge amount of rate increases as result of underwriting losses (also ongoing increases of jury verdicts and defence costs etc), and covid-19’s impact driving the portfolio as a loss. Agency estimates COR 106% (2017-2019) and is showing clear further increases in 2020. The pricing landscape has been compromised as a result of clients approach/methodology and therefore in 2021, pricing will play a pivotal role and we need to implicitly consider the data strategy element. https://lnkd.in/gAxpWVj
