Who can apply
Skills Bootcamps are government funded and carry eligibility rules set by the Department for Education not by ARGenesis. You must meet all of the following.
You must
All five apply. We check eligibility before enrolment, not after.
✓ Be aged 19 or over
✓ Have the right to work in the UK
✓ Not have taken another Skills Bootcamp this funding year (1 April – 31 March)
✓ Have lived in England for at least the last 3 consecutive years
✓ Live or work in England, delivery is England-only
Also eligible: people who are employed, self-employed, or have been out of work for under 12 months. If you have been away from work longer than 12 months, talk to us, we may still be able to support you.
Prior experience: beginner familiarity with Python is expected for this bootcamp. We will advise whether a short preparation step is recommended.

What comes after week 16
The bootcamp is the start, not the ceiling.
Most bootcamps end at week 16 and leave you there. Ours opens onto an accredited progression ladder, so you can keep building.

Onward pathways sit outside the funded bootcamp. There is no obligation to continue, and no charge for any element of the bootcamp itself.

Your commitment
An interview for an enhanced role or responsibility for your nominated staff member on completion. That’s the exchange: public funding covers the training, you commit to the progression.

The 10% / 30% co-funding split is consistently reported across DfE guidance and provider sites, but must be confirmed directly with the GLA against the current funding year before these figures go live. Rates and rules can change between funding years — and these are the numbers an employer will hold you to.

For individual learners, yes there is no charge for any element. If your employer nominates you, they contribute a share of the cost; you pay nothing either way.
No. It is training with a guaranteed interview on completion either with an employer or for an enhanced role with your current employer if you were nominated.
